I am writing to thank you and all your staff for the excellent hospitality given to us during our recent business conference.
As always we received a warm welcome and particularly appreciated the log fires and comfortable surroundings. Our Christmas Lunch was very much enjoyed by everyone, as was the friendly and efficient service. The extra touch of the homemade shortbread and traybakes leave us feeling well looked after and very sastisfied. I’m sure we all increased our waistline by a few inches!
We have used The Lodge on numerous occasions and have always been impressed by the high quality of customer service.

I felt I must thank you and all your staff for making Morag’s day so special. Everything was so well organised and beautifully done and the meals and buffet superb. It was a perfect setting for a wedding and everyone had a wonderful time.

We just wanted to formally thank you and the hotel for putting on such a wonderful reception for us on Saturday. Everybody has been talking about it and saying what a wonderful time they all had. We have had so many superb comments from people about the meal and the hotel in general. You really must pass on our appreciation to the kitchen staff for the quality and presentation of the meal. We just can’t express how good the meal was, the beef was raved about all night by many people. I think a few people commented to you directly as well and you heard about the women that never finishes a meal but did on Saturday (all 3 courses) and had to take photos of the clean plates as proof! We can honestly say that we have not heard one negative comment about any part of the day.

We both wanted to write to say thank you so much for everything did to make our wedding say run so smoothly. Peoples comments about the reception have been fantastic – everyone thought that the Lodge was a beautiful venue and they are still talking about the beef and the sticky toffee pudding!! We were please that the dance went so well, there was so much space and everyone had a ball!

Absolutely every aspect of our stay was excellent. The attention of staff to our family needs was greatly appreciated. The food was wholesome, delicious and plentiful. We enjoyed the buffet as it gave us a chance to try everything! The children were treated as special guests instead of an inconvenience. Many thanks.
