Over the years, Carfraemill has been host to countless charity fundraising events. Charity auctions, speakers’ dinners, balls, ceilidhs, fashion shows and more can be accommodated in our wood-panelled function room or stunning marquee.
Carfraemill’s location makes it a fabulous place for clubs to gather and for competitions to be held.
Chess competitions, bridge events, book clubs, community groups and society meetings all gather here.
We will provide refreshments for your members and participants, with a tailor-made package to suit the format of your event.

How about a real treat for your gathering? Let us provide you with the perfect afternoon tea: finger sandwiches, savoury bites, fruit scones with jam and fresh cream, delicious homemade cakes, all served with beautiful vintage china tea cups and plates.

Carfraemill is a place that gathers people together for happy times but also on the days when we need to reflect and grieve for lost friends and family. We aim to provide a respectful and sympathetic setting and service for funeral teas and other memorial events.

For the largest gatherings, or those where guests need plenty of room to move, we are able to offer our stunning marquee.
